A Statement of Investment Principles is a written statement governing decisions about investments relating to an occupational pension scheme.

What is a Statement of Investment Principles?

A Statement of Investment Principles (SIP) is a written statement governing decisions about investments relating to an occupational pension scheme. It is prepared in accordance with all relevant legislation and best-practice guidelines.

The Trustees of Highlands and Islands Enterprise Superannuation Scheme have drawn up this Statement of Investment Principles to comply with the requirements of the Pensions Act 1995.

HIE is legally obliged to disclose the details of its SIP in relation to its occupational pension scheme.
