HIE assisted community owned assets

Community-led organisations across the Highlands and Islands own and manage land and buildings for the benefit of their community. HIE has assisted communities to purchase more than 401,600 acres (162,521 hectares) of land. Our support has varied from a few hundred pounds to £2m.
