To improve understanding of the contribution Inverness Airport makes to regional development across the Highlands and Islands, HIE and HIAL commissioned ekosgen and Reference Economics to assess the economic and wider social and catalytic impacts of Inverness airport on the Highlands and Islands economy. This included exploring the role the airport has in facilitating business growth, inward investment (particularly for key sectors) and social inclusion across the areas it serves.
