This report has been produced for Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) in response to a request from the First Minister for an assessment of the economic impacts of significant reductions in staffing at the Sullom Voe Terminal that were announced by a number of
companies in the latter half of 2015. The main focus is on the employment of Shetland residents and the supply chain in Shetland, with some information also obtained on the wider impacts in Scotland.
