Glasgow School of Art
We have worked with Glasgow School of Art (GSA) over a number of years to establish and grow this internationally renowned campus in the Highlands and Islands. It's one of five GSA schools and its focus is unique in Scotland as an international research and post-graduate teaching centre in innovation.
GSA Highlands and Islands initially delivered programmes from Horizon Scotland at the Enterprise Park Forres. In 2017, it opened a 21st century design school, converting a stunning 19th century steading on the Altyre Estate in Forres.
We are providing an ongoing two year investment in the development of its work in:
- learning and teaching of its Masters and PhD programme;
- forging international relationships;
- linking its work to local employability;
- developing innovative links with local secondary schools.
In addition to our supported project there are other partner activities on the Forres Campus, including the Digital Health Institute (DHI), International Partnership development and Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC).
