Soup and a Soapbox Networking Event - August

These informal networking events are for anyone in the life sciences and technology sectors including those operating in research, medical technology, digital health, animal health, agri-tech and aquaculture.

At each event, after lunch we’ll hold a quick ‘soapbox' session where attendees are invited to speak for up to two minutes with any news they have to share.

Free hot-desking is available for the day at the Life Sciences Innovation Centre or Rural and Veterinary Innovation Centre.

This is a series of monthly Soup and a Soapbox networking events to be hosted at Inverness Campus and is supported by:

• Highlands and Islands Enterprise – hosting at Solasta House
• University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI) – hosting at the Life Sciences Innovation Centre 
• Scottish Rural College (SRUC) – hosting at the Rural and Veterinary Innovation Centre 

Format of the day:

• Informal networking with soup, rolls, tea and coffee provided free of charge – please sign-up by the Friday prior to the date you're attending so we can confirm catering numbers.
• ‘Soapbox' session 
• Attendees are welcome to hot desk for the day and be based on Inverness Campus at either the Life Sciences Innovation Centre or Rural and Veterinary Innovation Centre.

We propose holding these networking sessions on the 3rd Wednesday of most months throughout 2024.

• Wed 30 October 2024 – Rural and Veterinary Innovation Centre (book by 25 Oct)
