Occupational health service

HIE requires a suitably qualified and experienced supplier who will provide an Occupational Health Service, whilst offering best value in the expenditure of public funds.

The objectives of the contract are to provide the following services in the HIE area:

Service

  1. Occupational Health Assessment and Advice 
  2. Health Promotion 
  3. Policy Development 
  4. Training & Awareness Sessions

The overall aim of the service is to:

  • Maximise staff attendance 
  • Support the health, wellbeing and safety of staff 
  • Provide specialist advice and support to line managers/Human Resources Team 
  • Ensure statutory compliance 
  • Promote best practice
  • Help ensure that health and wellbeing is an integral component of HIE culture and practice

This list is not exhaustive but provides the basis of the service to be provided.

The contract is being tendered using the two-stage restricted OJEU process.

The tender deadline is noon on 27/08/08 and it is anticipated that a contract will be awarded on 05/10/08.

Proposed team and individuals 20%
Challenges of working in the Highlands and Islands 10%
Track record of similar projects and clients 10%
Cost Price 20%
