About HIE Innse Gall

HIE Innse Gall is one of nine local enterprise companies (LECs) in the Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) area.

Local Enterprise Companies are locally-led organisations, involving public and private interests, which HIE contracts to deliver its programmes and pursue development in a way that matches local needs.

Delivering economic and social development to the Western Isles, HIE Innse Gall must operate with cognisance of key factors such as the stabilisation of the declining population, and the opportunities afforded locally and by international markets. To deliver this we have a compliment of staff working throughout the islands, under the management of a board of directors. We are supported in this delivery by a number of key partners.
